Massive Floridian Healthcare Network Signs Extended Contract With Digital Entertainment Company Magazine Jukebox

Norfolk, VA, November 22, 2022  — Magazine Jukebox Inc, a company that provides commercial spaces with a digital alternative to traditional print magazines, announced an extension of its partnership with Baptist Health of South Florida. This partnership means that all Baptist Health locations will continue providing their patients and guests with free digital magazines during their treatments. Baptist Health was a client for Magazine Jukebox early on in its existence and has seen the company grow from a Norfolk-based startup to a platform that is steadily taking over waiting rooms on a national scale. The original contract with the healthcare giant expired after just one year, but Baptist Health has just signed a contract that has secured Magazine Jukebox’s services in 100+ of their premium locations for the next 36 months.

Magazine Jukebox is a subscription-as-a-service company that proudly serves businesses across the nation. It does so by providing a green, sustainable method of replacing physical print magazines in public spaces. Ahead of schedule, Magazine Jukebox became an internationally used company after making its foreign debut in the Netherlands. Through the custom QR codes and displays which the company distributes, users can access clean, sustainable magazines from their own personal smart devices. Magazine Jukebox Inc. is based out of Norfolk, Va, and works with a wide array of business types, including salons, car dealerships, medical centers, and any other kind of business that has a waiting area. The company was founded during the pandemic in 2020 and, since that time, has acquired contracts with small businesses and large corporations alike with partners such as Highlands Oncology, Baptist Health of South Florida, Choice Hotels, and various small, local businesses. The Magazine Jukebox platform is currently operational in thousands of locations across the United States and is now available internationally.

“When I launched Magazine Jukebox, I knew the importance of early adopters, but the real test was whether businesses renewed their subscriptions” says Scott T. Janney, CEO. “When Baptist Health told us that they wanted to sign on for another 36 months, it was surreal, and I’m over the moon that this partnership will continue. ”

Magazine Jukebox, Inc. combines an innovative blend of technologies that allows guests to access digital magazines during their visit, and up to 36 hours after. This provides guests an opportunity to finish their magazine at home. Once a session with the platform is over, Magazine Jukebox, Inc. offers readers the option of subscribing to the magazine if they choose. Magazine Jukebox is currently operational in thousands of locations across the United States.
